The Mission of Historic St. Luke's Restoration, Inc. is to preserve, protect, and promote
this historic landmark and its collections, documents, history, graveyard, and surroundings.

Vision
By 2012, to be recognized as a model of a dynamically functioning foundation with a
10 year strategic plan, fiscal strength and an active and enthusiastic governing board.

Values
Our core values serve to help the visitor envision, experience and study the setting,
architecture and history of a colonial church and its burial site, and to focus the work
of the Board and Staff on continuing our dedication to:

Preservation: ensuring that the historic landmark, artifacts, documents, cemeteries
are maintained in an historically accurate state.

Protection: actively pursuing the secure and dignified status of the grounds,
buildings, and collections.

Sanctity: recognizing the spirituality of the church, its native purpose, its somber
environment, the serene atmosphere is maintained.

Quality: striving to do the best in all of our actions.

Research: providing opportunities and materials for study.

Education: providing knowledgeable and accessible tours, access to research and
genealogical materials.

History: recognizing that the church's significant historical status is the underlying value.

Promotion: encouraging visitation in a variety of markets and involvement in the tourism and historical community.

Stewardship: carefully using assets - financial, materiel and personnel.
